WHAT IS THE CHURCH OF CHRIST?
- The church that was built by and belongs to Christ. It is organized and functions the way He determined, as described in the New Testament. Matthew 16:16-18, Acts 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:15
- The church, the one body of Christ with Christ alone as the head, consists of obedient Christians. It has no founder other than Christ nor headquarters other than Heaven. Ephesians 1:22-23, Epshesians 4:4, Colossians 1:18
- The individual members have followed the will of the Lord in order to receive salvation from their sins and are now in Christ, added by the Lord. Acts 2:47 Our savior has offered this gift to all.
